Park Birdie will be hit by a wave of infectious energy and unique original music as one of Slovenia's most prominent bands, Katalena, comes to perform as they celebrate an impressive 25 years of activity in 2026.

For a quarter of a century, the ensemble has been known for drawing inspiration from the rich treasury of Slovenian folk songs and transforming them into a modern, playful, and concert-explosive expression. In their anniversary creative period, the six-member lineup, comprising Vesna Zornik, Polona Janežič, Jelena Ždrale, Boštjan Narat, Tibor Mihelič Syed, and Robert Rebolj, explores the borderlands from the Tolmin region and Resia to Venetian Slovenia and Istria. They are renowned for blending diverse soundscapes, tradition, and magical motifs, consistently pairing deep creative dedication with an exceptionally relaxed and rhythmic stage presence.
