We invite you to become part of a unique project where elite sport meets social responsibility. In cooperation with the Tadej Pogačar Foundation and the Red Ball charity organization, we are proud to present the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” charity golf league.
About the League
Each tournament Wednesday within the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” league is designed as a complete sporting and social experience, offering a premium event from arrival through to the evening.
“Never Give Up, Always Give Back” is a charity golf league organized in cooperation with Tadej Pogačar, where every swing contributes to creating a better future, as part of the funds raised will be donated to charitable causes.
Between 27 May 2026 and 18 October 2026, a total of 10 exclusive tournaments will take place on the first and last Wednesday of each month. These events offer not only an exceptional golfing experience, but also an excellent opportunity for networking, socializing, and relaxation.
Purpose of the Charity League
The “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” charity project was initiated by cycling champion Tadej Pogačar and entrepreneur Joc Pečečnik. Their shared goal is to bring together sport, business, and philanthropy in a strong, long-term platform for fundraising. With every round played, we support organizations dedicated to helping children and socially disadvantaged groups, creating a lasting positive impact within our community. Part of the funds raised will be donated directly to two exceptional organizations, each making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through its work.
Tadej Pogačar Foundation
The Tadej Pogačar Foundation was established with the vision of using the reach and influence of elite sport to support those facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. Led by our cycling champion, the foundation primarily focuses on funding advanced oncology research, while also providing direct assistance, scholarships, and medical equipment to children and young people affected by illness. An important part of its mission is also to respond quickly in times of natural disasters and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
Rdeča Žoga
The Red Ball charity organization, operating under the umbrella of SBC – the Club of Slovenian Entrepreneurs, serves as a strong bridge between those who wish to help and those who need support most. Its beginnings are closely linked to supporting young athletes and athletes with disabilities, while over the years its work has expanded across five key areas. In addition to sport, the organization actively supports young people in culture, encourages entrepreneurship among youth, responds to urgent life situations, and helps animals in need.
Tournament Structure
The main goal of each tournament in the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” series is to collect points toward qualification for the grand Masters Final, where the top 72 players will earn their place. The competition is divided into individual and team events, offering a variety of sporting challenges throughout the season.
Individual Tournaments
Individual tournaments take place on the first Wednesday of each month and are played over 18 holes using the Stableford format.

Team Tournaments
The team tournaments take place on the last Wednesday of each month and are played over 18 holes using the popular Texas Scramble format.

The Day’s Schedule
Each tournament Wednesday within the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” league is designed as a complete social and sporting experience, offering a premium day from arrival through to the evening.
The exact tournament start time is always announced in advance in the individual tournament notices, allowing players to arrive at ease and warm up on the practice facilities before tee-off.
The tournament then takes place on the beautiful fairways and greens of Golf Resort Arboretum, combining competitive spirit with relaxed socializing. After the final hole, the event continues in the clubhouse with refreshments, the official results announcement, and an awards ceremony.

All current tournament announcements and details for each event are published one week in advance on our website and in The Golf App mobile application. Registrations are accepted via email at turnirji@golfarboretum.com
Masters Final – The Charity Highlight of the Season
The grand final of the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” league will take place on 18 October 2026 and will represent the unforgettable charity highlight of the season.
The grand final of the “Never Give Up, Always Give Back” league will take place on 18 October 2026 and will mark the unforgettable charity highlight of the season. Designed as an exclusive gathering, the event will place pure philanthropy at the forefront, with traditional competition taking a secondary role. Both initiators of the project, Tadej Pogačar and Joc Pečečnik, will also attend.
The final will be played in a Texas Scramble format, with teams made up of four qualified players. The organizer will create the teams using a mixed allocation system designed to encourage socializing, new connections, and friendship among participants.
Awards will be presented to the overall winners of the series, the winning teams of the final, and the winners of special challenges. Part of the funds raised will be used by the Tadej Pogačar Foundation and Red Ball to provide direct support to people in need.
